Looking for the ULTIMATE Intelligent All Wheel Drive, look no further than the Mazda Predictive AWD I Drive System

If you are looking for the ULTIMATE IntelligentAll Wheel Drive, look no further than the Mazda Predictive AWD I Drive System. Most AWD systems are REACTIVE, but the All New INTELLIGENT Mazda AWD uses cutting edge technology and sophisticated On-Board computer technology to act BEFORE the driver loses control in a spin situation to help you remain in intelligent control. The MAZDA intelligent system uses 27 distinct inputs and also alters the intelligent steering system to adjust the control parameters up to 200 times per second. In addition, the intelligent AWD system can actually be MORE fuel efficient in low-traction conditions, and the current AWD system can typically get within 1 MPG on "Dry" pavement. So get the best of both words with the intelligent Mazda AWD system today! In the words of the 2016 Mazda Ice Academy and Mazda i-Activ AWD system with engineer Dave Coleman: "i-ACTIV all-wheel drive was introduced in the 2013 Mazda CX-5, the first sixth-generation vehicle with a full integration of SKYACTIV Technologies. Subsequent models for the North American and Australian markets with i-ACTIV AWD include CX-3, which went on sale in 2015, and the all-new CX-9, which will go on sale in eight global markets in 2016. Several other global Mazda products also feature i-ACTIV AWD. Mazda's innovative i-ACTIV AWD works similarly in all models in which it is implemented, complementing Mazda's Jinba Ittai-"horse and rider as one"-and Hoshiru Yorikobi-"joy derived from driving"-philosophies. That is to say, Mazdas are meant to be sporty and engage their drivers, allowing for precise control and spirited dynamics. i-ACTIV AWD was designed to complement those tenets-not hinder them." So come to PASSPORT MAZDA your Intelligent All Wheel Drive Headquarters and experience the intelligent All Wheel Drive system Today!

Mazda's Pre-Collision Safety Technology helps reduce the severity of a collision when one becomes unavoidable.

Pre-Collision Safety Technology SCBS (Smart City Brake Support) These systems automatically apply the brakes to reduce the severity of a collision. Rear-end collisions are the most common type of accident, and approximately 60% of these occur at relatively low speeds of 30km/h or less. more Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) helps the driver avoid frontal collisions while driving at the slow speeds common in urban areas or congested traffic. When driving at low speeds (approximately 4 - 30 km/h) a laser sensor mounted on the windsheild senses the car in front. If the system detects a risk of collision, it prepares the brake system to be ready to deliver maximum stopping power when the driver brakes. If the driver does not take evasive action such as braking or steering, the system simultaneously applies the brakes and reduces engine output, with the aim of avoiding the collision or reducing the severity of impact. Acceleration Control for AT This system stops the car from taking off suddenly when the driver mistakenly steps on the accelerator instead of the brake. This system curbs sudden acceleration when the driver steps on the accelerator by mistake, by unintentional pedal operation. The system comes into effect if the driver presses the accelerator pedal more than a prescribed amount when the vehicle is stopped and the laser sensor detects an obstacle in front. It checks sudden acceleration by curbing engine output while alerting the driver with an alarm and a warning light displayed on the meter display. Pre-Crash Safety Technologies are designed to reduce damage and/or injuries resulting from accidents. However each system has its limitations, and no safety system or combination of such systems can prevent all accidents. These systems are not a replacement for safe and attentive driving. Please drive carefully at all times and do not rely on technology to prevent an accident. Not all of these systems are available on all models or in all markets, so please contact your local Mazda dealer for details on availability. Please refer to your owners' manual for additional important system details, limitations and warnings.
