The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is an all-new, rugged and capable crossover SUV. As has become expected of Mazda’s vehicles, the CX-50 offers superior driving dynamics and a beautiful design, while also enabling drivers to venture further into the outdoors and various terrains. The first-ever CX-50 will be equipped as standard with the latest i-Activ All-Wheel Drive (AWD) technology and new Mazda Intelligent Drive Select, or Mi-Drive. The new drive modes can be selected with the Mi-Drive switch and will help the crossover SUV drive naturally in a wide variety of conditions, such as in exciting off-road terrain or providing reliable towing capabilities. At launch, CX-50 will be available with Mazda’s efficient powertrains, Skyactiv-G 2.5 naturally aspirated engine or Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine and paired with a responsive six-speed automatic transmission. In the coming years, the CX-50 will also be offered with electrified powertrains, including a traditional hybrid model. More information about our electrified models will be shared at a later date. The interior of CX-50 is well-crafted and features a layout focused on the driver. It also offers Mazda’s first-ever panoramic moonroof, helping the occupants feel more connected to nature. To further support CX-50’s presence in the outdoor space, its designs are more than just beautiful, they are also functional. While the interior provides comfort to all passengers, the cargo space is thoughtfully designed to help support and enable outdoor activities. The vehicle’s height and length are ideal for easily loading and securing common outdoor equipment. Additionally, the high strength roof rails and reinforced b-pillars and door jambs add to the usability of securing equipment on the roof of CX-50.

It's easy to complete and a good way to manage your service history. more NEW-VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY The New-Vehicle Limited Warranty period for defects in materials and workmanship in all parts supplied by Mazda2 is 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. This transferable limited warranty is included on all new Mazda vehicles sold and serviced in the United States. POWERTRAIN LIMITED WARRANTY The Powertrain Limited Warranty period for defects in materials and workmanship in the powertrain components supplied by Mazda3 is 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. RX-8 ROTARY ENGINE CORE LIMITED WARRANTY EXTENSION Mazda Motor Corporation extended the warranty coverage on rotary engine core components on all RX-8 vehicles. The warranty coverage for the Rotary Engine Core Components is extended to eight years (96 months) from the original warranty start date, with a 100,000 mileage limitation. The following is a list of components covered by this warranty: ROTARY ENGINE CORE • Rotary Housing and Internal Parts • Internal Seals and Gaskets 24/7 EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE If a Mazda vehicle is not drivable due to a warranted part failure during the coverage period of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (36 months/36,000 miles), towing service will be covered to the nearest Mazda Dealer. In addition, if a Mazda vehicle is not drivable due to the failure of a warranted powertrain component, then towing service will be covered during the coverage period of the Mazda Powertrain Limited Warranty (60 months/60,000 miles). If a Mazda RX-8 is not drivable due to the failure of a warranted rotary engine core component, then towing service will be covered during the coverage period of the Rotary Engine Care Limited Warranty Extension (96 months/100,000 miles). i-stop is a smart technology that saves fuel by switching off the engine when the car stops. Idling stop systems save fuel by automatically shutting down the engine when the vehicle is static and restarting it when the vehicle returns to motion. more i-stop Mazda's i-stop substantially improves fuel economy while maintaining a natural driving feel. The latest control technologies achieve a rapid engine restart and an operational feel that is barely noticeable. The system improves fuel economy by approximately eight percent (under Japan's JC08 mode test cycle.). i-stop and Gasoline Engines While conventional idling stop systems rely on a starter motor to restart the engine, Mazda's i-stop restarts the engine through combustion; fuel is directly injected into a cylinder while the engine is stopped and ignited to generate downward piston force. The result is a quick and quiet engine re-start compared to other systems and a significant saving in fuel. To restart the engine by combustion, the compression-stroke and expansion-stroke pistons need to be stopped at exactly the correct positions to create the right balance of air volumes. Mazda's i-stop ensures precise control over the piston positions during engine shutdown. With all the pistons stopped at the optimum positions, the system then identifies the initial cylinder for fuel injection. It injects fuel and ignites it to restart the engine. Even at extremely low rpm, cylinders are identified for sequential ignition, making the engine quickly pick up to idling speed. These technologies enable the system to restart the engine with exactly the same timing every time, to enhance fuel economy, and to deliver smooth and comfortable acceleration for the driver at restart. The restart takes place in a mere 0.35 seconds (internal measurement on vehicle with automatic transmission), which is about half of the time taken by conventional starter-motor idling stop systems. i-stop and Clean Diesel Engines Unlike gasoline engines, which use a spark plug to ignite the air-fuel mixture, diesel engines compress the mixture until it spontaneously combusts. Therefore, to restart a diesel engine, sufficient compression is required. While conventional diesel engine idling stop systems require two engine cycles to restart, Mazda's unique i-stop needs just one cycle, thanks to its precise control of the piston positions. As a result, i-stop achieves the world's fastest diesel engine restart time of approximately 0.40 seconds (internal measurement on vehicles with automatic transmission) and its operation is barely noticeable. i-stop offers a quick engine restart and a natural operation with little vibration and noise.

Worn tires should be replaced when the tires' tread-wear bar meets the tread. Have your tires inspected regularly and do not drive on a damaged tire or wheel. Tread depth on new tires typically measures 10/32 inches or 11/32 inches (about a third of an inch), while trucks, SUVs, or winter tires may have deeper treads. When tires reach 2/32 inches, the U.S. Department of Transportation recommends replacing them. To check whether you've hit the 2/32-inch mark, use the penny test as follows: Place a penny in a tire tread groove with Lincoln's head face first in the groove. Check if Lincoln's face on the penny disappears between the grooves. If it does, your tread is still above 2/32 inches. If you can see all of Lincoln's face, it's time to replace your tire. Make sure to repeat with all tires and in various places on each tire. There are a few other ways for drivers in Suitland to check tire tread depth, including using a tread depth gauge and tread wear indicator bars. All CX-30 2.5 Turbo models are powered by the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine delivering a 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium 93 octane fuel paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With regular 87 octane fuel, the turbo engine is capable of 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. In addition to all the features equipped on the Preferred package, the CX-30 2.5 Turbo features black metallic 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, gloss black heated door mirrors, a "TURBO" badge on the liftgate, chrome accents on the push button start and glove box latch, and frameless auto-dim rearview mirror. Polymetal Gray is available for turbo models as a premium paint option. CX-30 2.5 TURBO PREMIUM Elevating the standard turbo experience, the CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium package adds a power liftgate, heated steering wheel with paddle shifters, black or white leather seats, Bose 12-speaker premium audio, Mazda Navigation, Active Driving Display with Traffic Sign Recognition, and Adaptive Front-lighting System. A new feature for the 2022 model year is the windshield wiper de-icer. This package also includes LED signature illumination headlights and taillights, gloss black side accents, SiriusXM satellite radio with three-month trial, and three-year SiriusXM Traffic & Travel Link subscription. CX-30 2.5 TURBO PREMIUM PLUS The CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus completes the exceptional packaging with the addition of many convenience features. This top-level package includes a 360° View Monitor with front and rear parking sensors, Rear Direction Base Safety, which includes Smart Brake Support-Rear and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, Traffic Jam Assist, Homelink added to the frameless auto-dim rearview mirror, and auto-dim driver's door mirror.
